Schedule for Teen Events for Remainder of the Summer

The Orthodox Teen Group is open to teens from all the area parishes (age 12-18). Their friends are also welcome. The schedule for the remainder of summer is below.

From Spokane:

Head Eastbound on I-90 Take the Liberty Lake exit #296.
Turn right onto Liberty Lake Rd.
Turn left onto Country Vista Dr. (at the Albertsons)
Pavillion Park is on your right at the corner of Country Vista Dr and Molter Rd.

From Coeur d'Alene:

Head Westbound on I-90 Take the Liberty Lake exit #296.
Turn Left onto Harvard Rd.
Harvard Rd will become Liberty Lake Rd.
Turn left onto Country Vista Dr. (at the Albertsons)
Pavillion Park is on your right at the corner of Country Vista Dr and Molter Rd.

**There is a parking lot on Molter Rd. We will meet near the splash pad that is next to the parking lot at 6pm.

**Carpooling is available from Spokane. We will be leaving Holy Trinity at 5:30pm. Please e-mail OrthodoxLifeINW@aol.com by 8pm Wednesday to reserve a seat.

Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens at Pioneer Park

We will be hiking the grounds of the gardens followed by dinner in the park. Meet in the parking lot next to the Corbin Art Center at 6pm.

Please note: (From the brochure) "The Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens are situated on a steep hillside with an elevation of approximately 120 vertical feet. As a historic site, to preserve historic integrity the structures, staircases and trails retain their original design. You will experience numerous steps, inclines and a lack of handrails." So in other words...wear appropriate footwear.

Thursday August 21st 6pm - 8pm

Riverside State Park - Bowl and Pitcher

Dinner, hiking and discussion.

Please wear appropriate footwear.

To Riverside State Park Bowl & Pitcher: From I-90 take exit 280 (Maple Street) go north across the Spokane River, turn left at the second stop light onto Maxwell. (Please note: If Maple is still closed, take the Monroe St exit and turn left on Maxwell.) Follow Maxwell, which becomes Pettit Dr., then Downriver Dr. and then becomes N. Aubrey L. White Pkwy at the park entrance. Continue on for two miles downriver to the Bowl & Pitcher day-use area and campground.

We will meet in the picnic area next to the parking lot. Follow the picnic signs.

Liberty Lake County Park
(right next to where St Mary's camp was)

Picnic and swimming. There is also beach volleyball if it is available. Parents and siblings are welcome since this is the last meeting of the summer.

We will meet at the gate at 6pm. Swimming is until 7pm followed by dinner.
